We are searching for a dedicated Opto-Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. This senior role demands not only a deep understanding of mechanical engineering principles but also a passion for hands-on design, prototyping, and testing.
The Opto-Mechanical Engineer will perform analysis, modeling, design, prototyping and testing of opto-mechanical systems.They should have a strong understanding of robust opto-mechanical design practices including precision mechanism, kinematics, lasers, and thermal control. Additional responsibilities will include requirement flow-down, mechanical design, planning and execution of prototype integration and test. This person should be well versed and comfortable working with a multi-disciplinary design team to help drive execution on opto-mechanical modeling, prototyping, calculations, FEA (including STOP analysis), and testing.

We are seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer with expertise in satellite communications, including link budget analysis and radio resource management, to join our Spacetime team. Spacetime, is a cutting-edge software-defined networking platform that orchestrates radio resource management, schedule of pointing and handovers, and networking functions for aerospace & defense communication networks. You will be working on systems that optimize and control radio resources and traffic flow in real-time in satellite Internet mega-constellations and other non-terrestrial networks. The ideal candidate will possess a strong software engineering background.
Role Overview:
The Opto-Mechanical Assembly and Test Technician assembles products comprising optical, mechanical, and electronic components including the assembly, test and qualification of electro-optical instruments, components, and systems. Documenting procedures and providing real time feedback to engineering is required. This position would be joining our Tightbeam team. Tightbeam, is a cutting-edge laser communications system that is capable of connecting land, sea, air and space targets across vast distances, with high reliability and with data-rates previously unachievable (100s of Gbps).

Spacetime, is a cutting-edge software-defined networking platform that orchestrates radio resource management, schedule of pointing and handovers, and networking functions for aerospace & defense communication networks. As Senior Software Engineer on Spacetime, you will lead the evolution our Federation API, and help build the ecosystem of network participants who will adopt and exchange resources of the API.
The Federation API is designed to enable satellite communication and other non-terrestrial network operators to exchange spectrum and capacity, creating greater network resilience and cost effectiveness than can be achieved by individual networks alone. This API facilitates dynamic, real-time inter-network connections, allowing operators to automatically supplement gaps in network coverage or advertise unused capacity to maximize asset utilization.

The ideal candidate should have experience building distributed systems with cloud technologies and solutions to networking, storage, queueing and other systems challenges.
